Twestival 2009
February 12, 2009 Catalyst Ranch hosted "Twestival 2009" a "meet and tweet” in downtown Chicago to raise money for deserving communities. The international event drew nearly 200 local micro-bloggers as they joined more than 100 cities around the globe, hosting similar events.
The Twestival is organized 100% by volunteers in cities around the world and 100% of the money raised from these events will go directly to support charity: water projects, a group dedicated to providing clean drinking water to developing nations.
