Catalyst Ranch Events had two previous Wedding Showcase Events in 2004 and 2005. The two events were quite successful. They were fun and beautiful and our clients loved them and found them helpful with the ensemble of such talented and creative vendors to help plan their weddings.
As we planned for what to do for 2006, we thought about all of the lovely, joyous commitment ceremonies which had taken place over the past three years. We remembered the stories of some same-sex couples who’ve approached other venues here in the city for a nuptial celebration and had a negative experience. We decided to target this year’s event to same-sex commitment ceremonies because Catalyst Ranch is proud to offer our venue as a welcoming, perfect environment for all celebrations.

It was an amazing happening in the community. That evening 200 people came through the door, saw an incredible original couture fashion show with outstanding music, danced, ate, drank, tried on jewelry and beautiful wedding shoes, got their pictures taken, adored gorgeous flowers, swooned over the yummy -yummy table linens and colors, ate mouthwatering cake, considered their lovely wedding invitations and photos, ate chocolate, laughed, chatted, flirted, danced, dreamed about honeymoon plans and romantic hotels and hideaways - listened to an amazing band, enjoyed the dancers and met fun and interesting people! One lucky couple even walked away with a $4,300 wedding package!
