The Chocolate Event
The Chocolate Event was held in 2004 as a fundraiser to benefit Fairygodmother Foundation, which fulfilled wishes for terminally ill adults. Catalyst Ranch was proud to be the sponsor. The event was the brainchild of Kaysie Lingo who recruited dozens of the top pastry chefs in Chicago to come and each create an edible sculpture. Guests could watch the process and later bid on each piece as part of a live auction. We even had an artist who painted with purely food safe inks onto edible canvases and Tinker Bell and Tarzan modeling edible outfits. It was a gluttonous and tasty event! |
